1. How subscriptions work
When you start a subscription, you are agreeing that your chosen product will be sent to you and charged to your payment method automatically, on the schedule you selected at checkout, until you cancel.
Before you place your order we will clearly show you all the important details, including:
- Which product you are subscribing to
- The recurring price
- How often you will be billed
- How often the product will be shipped
- Estimated shipping charges and taxes
- How to cancel
After you sign up, we will send you a confirmation email with all of these details plus your cancellation instructions. Please keep that email — it is your record of everything you agreed to.
2. Who can subscribe
Subscriptions are available to adults aged 21 and over only, in locations where our products can legally be sold and shipped.
By purchasing a subscription you are confirming that:
- You are at least 21 years old
- The information you have provided is accurate and complete
- You are authorised to use the payment method you have provided
- Your order and delivery address comply with the laws where you live
3. Billing and payment
By starting a subscription you are authorising Botanical Embers Collective LLC to charge your chosen payment method automatically on the recurring schedule shown at checkout — until you cancel.
The price, estimated shipping charges and estimated taxes will always be shown to you clearly before you complete checkout. Please note that the actual tax charged may vary slightly at each renewal depending on your shipping address and the tax laws that apply at that time.
If a payment is declined, we may retry your card, ask you to update your payment details, delay your shipment, pause your subscription, or in some cases cancel it. We are not responsible for any overdraft fees or charges your bank or card provider may apply.
4. How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time — no questions asked, no fees charged.
You can cancel in any of these ways:
- Using the self-service cancellation option in your account (if available)
- Using the cancellation link in any of your subscription emails
- Emailing us at customerservice@botanicalembersco.shop
5. Making changes to your subscription
If your account allows it, you can update your shipping address, payment method or delivery frequency yourself before your next billing date.
If a self-service option is not available for the change you need, email us at customerservice@botanicalembersco.shop and we will do our best to make the change before your next billing date.
6. If a product becomes unavailable
Occasionally a subscribed product may become unavailable, delayed, restricted or discontinued. If that happens we may pause your subscription, delay your shipment, or cancel the subscription.
We will never swap your product for a different one without telling you clearly first — and where the law requires it, without your agreement.
7. Price changes and other important changes
We may occasionally need to change subscription pricing, shipping charges, renewal timing or other important terms. If we do, we will always give you advance notice as required by law, including clear instructions on how to cancel before the change takes effect. Where the law requires your consent, we will ask for it before applying any change.
If you continue your subscription after a properly notified change takes effect, that means you have accepted the updated terms.
8. Trial offers and promotional pricing
If we ever offer a free trial, introductory discount or promotional period, we will make all the terms crystal clear before checkout — including exactly when the trial or promotional period ends, when regular pricing begins, and how to cancel before the first full charge. Where required by law we will also send you a reminder before any trial converts to a paid subscription.
9. Renewal reminders
Where the law requires it — for example for annual subscriptions, longer paid terms, trial conversions or promotional pricing periods — we will send you a reminder before your renewal charge is processed, using email, text or another communication method we offer.
10. Refunds and damaged items
If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrectly fulfilled, our standard store policies apply and we will make it right.
For subscription renewals that have already been processed and are in fulfilment, we do not generally offer refunds except where required by law. Nothing in this policy removes any consumer rights you have under the laws of your state.
11. Your state law rights
This policy is written to meet the requirements of states with stricter automatic renewal laws, including California, New York, Colorado and Delaware. If the law in your state gives you greater rights than this policy describes, we will always follow the law that applies to you.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Subscription Policy from time to time. The current version on this page always applies going forward. Where the law requires us to give you additional notice or obtain your consent before a change takes effect, we will do so.
