Red Clover, Trifolium pratense, is one of the most common wildflowers in the Northern Hemisphere, a familiar presence in meadows, roadsides and lawns across Europe and North America. It has a long history in traditional herbal practice, appearing in preparations for respiratory support and general wellness across many different herbal traditions. The dried flower heads and leaves carry a mild, slightly sweet, gently grassy quality. Red Clover is not a herb with a dramatic character.
