Shipping Policy
This page explains how and when we ship your order. Botanical Embers Collective LLC (“BEC”) aims to ship orders quickly and communicate clearly. Here you will find processing times, shipping methods, tracking, delays and what to do if something goes wrong.
1. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to: all states in the United States, with the exception of Louisiana
We do not ship to: Louisiana, due to legalities concerning Damiana
Note: Orders may be void where prohibited. Customers are responsible for complying with local laws and restrictions.
2. Processing Time (Before It Ships)
Orders are typically processed within 2 business days (excluding weekends and U.S. federal holidays).
Processing time means we are preparing, packing, and handing your order to the carrier. It is not the same as transit time.
Order cutoff: Orders placed after 11.00AM [Mountain Time] begin processing the next business day.
3. Shipping Methods and Estimated Transit Times
At checkout, you will see available carrier options and pricing.
Typical carrier transit estimates (after shipment):
USPS Ground Advantage: [3-5] business days, with tracking.
USPS Priority Mails [2-3] business days, with tracking & insurance.
Free Shipping uses the USPS Ground Advantage service [3-5] business days.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, peak seasons or events outside our control.
4. Applicable Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and service level.
Any Free Shipping offers (if available) will be shown at checkout.
5. Tracking and Delivery Confirmation
When your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
If you don’t see it, check spam/junk folders or contact us here
6. Delays, Backorders, and the FTC Prompt Delivery Rule
We only advertise shipping timelines we reasonably believe we can meet.
If we cannot ship within the time stated at checkout (or within 30 days if no time is stated), we will notify you and provide options as required by the FTC Mail/Internet Order Rule, which may include:
agreeing to a revised shipping date, or canceling for a refund of any unshipped items.
7. Address Accuracy and Undeliverable Packages
Customers are responsible for entering an accurate shipping address.
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect/incomplete address, refused delivery, or failure to pick up from the carrier:
We can reship the order after confirming the correct address (additional shipping charges may apply), or
We can refund the order minus shipping costs and any non-refundable fees, where permitted by law.
8. Damaged, Incorrect, or Opened Orders
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or opened, do not use it.
Contact us within 7 days of delivery and include:
a) your order number,
b) a photo of the product and packaging, and
c) a brief description of the issue.
We will review and, where appropriate, provide a replacement or refund.
9. Lost or Stolen Packages
If tracking shows your package was delivered but you can’t locate it: check around your delivery location, mailbox and with neighbors/building staff and contact the carrier with your tracking number.
If your package appears lost in transit (tracking has not updated for an unusual period), email us and we will assist with the carrier inquiry/claim process.
Important: BEC is not responsible for theft after delivery to the address provided. For higher-value orders, we may require signature confirmation or recommend shipping to a secure location.
10. Colorado Retail Delivery Fee
For deliveries to Colorado addresses, orders may include a Retail Delivery Fee as required by Colorado law.
This fee is not refundable, even if items are returned for a full refund of the purchase price and sales tax.
